Fine silver, brass, citrine, acid etched.

Text says "Night and evening, the years to number", an exerpt from the Völuspá in the Poetic Edda. This was a piece based on time, the months of the year (13 notches inside for 13 months in the lunar calendar).

Very cool piece! I love the runes, and the open area in the middle makes me go... "Say, what's in there?" I also like how the silver and gold tones don't compete with each other, but compliment.
